My hairdresser recommended I switch to a silk pillowcase—so I did.
Turns out, what I’d bought wasn’t 100% silk at all. It was a blend, with synthetic fibres touching my skin all night.
That felt wrong to me. We spend around a third of our lives asleep—that’s a lot of hours for your skin and hair to either benefit, or not, from what you’re sleeping on.
So I sourced the real thing: 100% mulberry silk. Nothing else blended into the fabric.
