Caring for your silk
With gentle care, your Mulberry Mae pillowcase will retain its softness, lustre and beauty.
Washing
- Hand wash in cool or lukewarm water at no more than 30°C.
- If machine washing, turn the pillowcase inside out, place it in a mesh laundry bag and select a delicate cycle.
- Use a small amount of mild detergent formulated specifically for silk.
- Avoid detergents containing optical brighteners, bleach or harsh enzymes.
- Wash separately from rough fabrics, hooks and exposed zips.
- Do not soak, stretch or wring the silk.
Drying
- Do not tumble dry.
- Gently press out excess water without twisting the fabric.
- Reshape and dry flat in the shade.
- Keep away from direct sunlight and artificial heat.
Ironing and storage
- Iron inside out on a cool silk setting if required.
- Store clean and completely dry.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
